Japan's WHV promotes mutual understanding and allows part-time work. As a citizen of Portugal, you may be eligible to apply for the Working Holiday Visa.

Financial Requirement: JPY 200,000 (approx. USD 1,500)

Return flight ticket or sufficient funds to purchase one

Application Process

1. Check Eligibility

Ensure the quota for Portugal citizens is currently open for the Japan program.

2. Gather Documents

Prepare your passport, proof of funds, background check, and medical exams if required.

3. Apply via Official Portal

Submit your application online or at the Japan embassy/consulate in your jurisdiction.

4. Visa Grant & Arrival

Once approved, activate your visa by entering Japan within the required timeframe.
